Their dedication to innovation, employee well-being, and customer satisfaction has positioned them as a trusted name in the industry, continually adapting to meet the evolving demands of the supply chain and transportation sectors.
Ruan is currently seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers to join their flex fleet. This unique role offers an exciting opportunity for drivers who prefer a dynamic work environment, as flex fleet drivers are dispatched to assist customers and operations nationwide wherever extra coverage is needed. Unlike traditional routes, this position provides a high level of variety combined with the security of consistent work availability. Drivers under the flex fleet program enjoy competitive pay of $43 per hour at straight time rates and operate under a flexible schedule whereby they are typically out on the road for five weeks with a guaranteed 50-hour workweek, followed by one week off. The work schedule and start times vary depending on the assignment location, adding to the role’s adaptability.
The equipment operated may vary, encompassing a range of truck and trailer types to meet operational demands. Duties vary from handling no-touch freight to driver-assisted unloading and tarping, offering a mix of physical and technical tasks that keep the workday interesting. Ruan’s flex driver position is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, changing environments and want the advantage of steady work without the monotony of a fixed route. Comprehensive benefits and a supportive company culture focused on safety, respect, and professional growth enhance the attractiveness of this role.
By joining Ruan, flex fleet drivers become part of a company recognized for its commitment to people and safety, with more than 90 years of operational excellence. The organization uniquely values the contributions of each employee and ensures competitive compensation paired with substantial benefits such as health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance, prescription drug coverage, paid time off including holidays and earned vacation, along with a 401(k) plan with employer matching. Ruan is also dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the communities it serves. This opportunity is ideal for professional drivers who want dependable work, excellent pay, meaningful benefits, and the chance to be part of a stable yet dynamic company.
