Job Requirements
- must be at least 22 years or older
- have no more than three moving violations in the past three years
- have no more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
- 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
- create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov as required by DOT's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- additional qualifications as applicable
Job Qualifications
- valid Class A commercial driver’s license
- at least 9 months of tractor-trailer driving experience in the past three years
- clean driving record with no more than three moving violations in the past three years
- no more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
- ability to create a profile in the Department of Transportation’s Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- operate tractor-trailers to transport freight
- travel to various customers and operations nationwide to provide coverage
- handle no-touch freight and assist with unloading and tarping as required
- maintain compliance with safety and DOT regulations
- communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- ensure proper maintenance and care of assigned equipment
