Job Requirements
- Physician licensed to practice medicine in current state
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics if applicable
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty
- Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- Meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage
Job Qualifications
- Physician licensed to practice medicine in the state of Illinois
- Board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration to prescribe narcotics if applicable
- Eligible provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- Meeting all qualifications for participation in OSF's malpractice and liability programs
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills aligned with patient-centered care principles
Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive otolaryngology patient care
- Participate in multidisciplinary collaborations within the multi-specialty group
- Utilize on-site audiology services to enhance diagnostic and treatment options
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR system
- Manage call responsibilities on a 1:4 rotation
- Engage in continuous professional development and training
- Contribute to the growth and reputation of the practice
