Virgin Hotels is currently seeking a dedicated Fountain Worker - Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) to join their team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth sales transactions within the QSR outlets, whether operating at the front or back of the house. The Fountain Worker - QSR plays a vital role in managing cash transactions accurately, handling paperwork efficiently, and maintaining high levels of customer service. The role involves responsibilities such as opening the register, managing cash banks securely, and ensuring the correctness of all monetary transactions. Additionally, the position requires handling guest inquiries both in person and over the phone, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring the fulfillment of VIP and general amenity requests with professionalism and accuracy. The Fountain Worker is expected to have foundational knowledge of food preparation and beverage services to assist customers effectively. Communication skills are critically important for interacting with guests to anticipate their needs and suggest additional menu items, contributing to upselling and enhancing the overall customer experience. Job Requirements
- Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
- Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- Clearly write out the order in the log sheet, time of ordering, room number, etc.
- Work in a fast-paced multi tasked manner
- Ability to communicate with the guests and anticipate their needs
- Politely ask the guest about preferences

Job Duties
- Responsible for opening register, preparing, and completing all paperwork for assigned outlet in an organized manner
- Maintain accurate cash balance and handles money in a secure manner according to established standards
- Handle forms and equipment necessary to complete settlement of checks
- Answer telephones and handles guest inquiries in person or by telephone
- Check all supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels
- Responsible for the security and accuracy of assigned bank and is accountable for all overages and shortages
- Understand basic food preparations and knowledge of appropriate beverage services
- Responsible for handling all amenity requests
- Responsible for ensuring all VIPs requests are handled in a professional, accurate and efficient manner
- Ability to communicate with the guests and anticipate their needs
- Politely ask the guest about preferences
- Use upselling techniques by suggesting soups, starters, drinks, or desserts
- Whenever appropriate mention the approximate time for delivery
- Repeat the order back to the guest
