Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- No related work experience required
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Willingness to follow safety and company policies
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Able to work part-time shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to use reservation and point-of-sale systems
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work part-time hours
- No prior supervisory experience required
- Knowledge of food and beverage terminology preferred
Job Duties
- Take room service orders over the phone
- Answer questions on menu selections and coordinate with kitchen staff
- Address guest questions or concerns about wine selections
- Place and log room service orders in the MICROS system
- Notify guests and management of service delays
- Communicate special meal requirements, allergies, and dietary needs to kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas
- Complete closing and MICROS reports
- Process all payment methods
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
- Welcome guests and anticipate service needs
- Speak clearly and professionally
- Develop positive relationships with team members
- Meet quality and service standards
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
