Currently, Baker Manufacturing Company is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Customer Success Representative for Order Entry to join its Customer Success team. This full-time, temporary position offers an opportunity to work 40 hours per week during the day shift, Monday through Friday. The role is based in Evansville, WI; however, after successful training, there is potential eligibility to work remotely up to 100 percent, which offers added flexibility for the employee. This position is paid at a rate of $20.00 per hour and is temporarily assigned, meaning it is not benefit-eligible and does not offer paid time off or holidays.

The Temporary Customer Success Representative plays a crucial role within the Customer Success department by ensuring customer purchase orders are accurately entered and processed through the company’s ERP system, specifically Epicor/Kinetic. This position requires a strong attention to detail and organizational skills to verify the accuracy of orders, including part numbers, quantities, pricing, shipping instructions, and requested ship dates. The representative will regularly communicate with team members to clarify any missing or unclear order information and attach necessary customer documentation within the ERP system to maintain complete and accurate records.

Additionally, the representative supports the broader Customer Success team by assisting with order processing, customer follow-up, and various administrative responsibilities essential to maintaining smooth operations. The role demands proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and general computer applications to handle day-to-day tasks efficiently. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively while following established company procedures is vital for success in this position.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service or order entry preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, order entry, administrative support, or data entry preferred
  • ERP experience preferred
  • Epicor/Kinetic experience is a plus

  • Ability to work independently while following established processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and general computer applications

Job Duties

  • Accurately enter customer purchase orders into Epicor/Kinetic ERP
  • Review purchase orders for accuracy including part numbers, quantities, pricing, requested ship dates, and shipping instructions
  • Identify missing or unclear order information and communicate questions to the appropriate team member
  • Attach required customer documentation within the ERP system
  • Assist the Customer Success team with order processing, customer follow-up, and other administrative tasks
  • Maintain accurate order records while following established company procedures
  • Support team members as needed to ensure timely and accurate customer service
  • Other duties as assigned
