The team at Specialty Eye focuses on personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs, ensuring the highest standards of care and customer satisfaction.
We are currently seeking a friendly and dependable Optometric Technician / Vision Concierge to join our team at our Bellevue and Kirkland locations. This full-time, in-person position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend work required, providing a stable work-life balance. The position guarantees 36 or more hours per week, allowing for a consistent and rewarding work schedule. Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping people, is eager to learn new skills, and thrives in a supportive team environment.
No prior experience in optometry or medical fields is necessary, as we are committed to providing paid training and continued growth opportunities. During training, employees will earn between $22 and $25 per hour, with opportunities for pay increases as skills and experience develop. Specialty Eye values a welcoming and organized workplace where staff can grow professionally and personally.
As an Optometric Technician / Vision Concierge, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive courteous and comprehensive service throughout their visit. This includes greeting patients warmly, guiding them through each step of their appointment, performing basic eye testing and pretesting, assisting doctors during eye exams, and documenting doctor recommendations accurately. Additionally, you will support patients in understanding their treatment plans and help them explore eyewear and vision solutions.
Your role will also include maintaining clean and prepared exam rooms and equipment to uphold the clinic's high standards of hygiene and efficiency. By helping keep the clinic running smoothly, you will be an integral part of creating a positive experience for both patients and colleagues. The position demands strong interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to learn new technologies and workflows efficiently. If you have a passion for healthcare or interest in eye care, this opportunity will allow you to make a meaningful impact while developing valuable skills in a dynamic clinical environment.
