The Operations Coordinator role at United Site Services is pivotal in maintaining daily communication and coordination of transportation activities to ensure that service and delivery goals are consistently met on schedule. This position demands strong organizational and communication skills to manage various dispatch responsibilities such as fielding incoming calls from employees and customers, routing drivers efficiently, and resolving account or customer issues promptly.

The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for communicating important information to drivers regarding schedules, route changes, and emergency situations that may affect their services. They handle customer inquiries with professionalism, keep all parties informed of service expectations, and collaborate with the customer service department to schedule deliveries or services, ensuring that operational workflows run smoothly.

This position requires meticulous attention to detail to review driver manifests, document delivery and service information accurately, and conduct route check-ins. By maintaining constant communication with the Operations Manager about any ongoing issues and their resolutions, the Operations Coordinator supports effective operational management. Through teamwork and proactive problem-solving, the Coordinator contributes to the overall success and reliability of United Site Services’ operations.

This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $16.58 to $22.38, reflecting factors such as geographic location, skills, experience, and education. Job Duties

  • Communicate information and instructions to drivers including schedules, route changes, road conditions, accidents, and emergencies
  • handle all customer call-ins and update customers on expected delivery and service times
  • make outgoing calls to customers regarding issues such as locked gates and missed services
  • support drivers during reported emergencies and provide appropriate resources
  • work with the customer service department on scheduling deliveries or services
  • post route and pick-ups and deliveries and sequence routes and pick-ups and deliveries as needed
  • review driver manifests at end of day to ensure notes are documented and work with drivers to capture delivery and service information
  • conduct route check-in to ensure manifest information is accurate and complete
  • keep Operations Manager updated on issues and resolution of issues
  • perform other duties as assigned
