ReFocus Eye Health is a physician-led network with a strong presence across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, featuring over 90 locations and more than 200 providers. ReFocus Eye Health is currently seeking a full-time Optometrist to join its well-established Greenwich office. This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled and compassionate professional who is enthusiastic about providing comprehensive medical eye care. The Optometrist will collaborate closely with a network of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and clinical staff to ensure outstanding patient care and seamless coordination of services. The role offers a full-time schedule with occasional Saturdays required each month, supporting a balanced work-life structure. This position involves responsibility for advanced diagnostic and treatment services, including contact lens fittings with specialized lenses like scleral and hybrid lenses, managing a broad spectrum of ocular diseases, and developing personalized treatment plans that optimize both visual outcomes and long-term ocular health.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree with an active, unrestricted Connecticut license or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Clinical experience including contact lens fittings, with specialty lens experience (scleral and hybrid) preferred
  • Excellent clinical diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work full-time including occasional Saturdays
  • Strong ethical standards and professionalism
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to staying updated with advances in optometry

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations, accurately diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of ocular diseases and vision conditions

  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment and management plans designed to optimize visual outcomes and long-term ocular health
  • Collaborate closely with ophthalmologists, technicians, and administrative teams to ensure seamless coordination of care and an exceptional patient experience
  • Educate patients on ocular health, treatment options, and preventative strategies, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care
  • Maintain precise and compliant medical documentation while adhering to the highest clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards
  • Remain current with advancements in optometric care, diagnostic technologies, and treatment modalities to continually elevate clinical quality
