Job Requirements
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
- Ability to operate, maintain and repair facility and rotating equipment
- Knowledge of BSEE and USCG safety regulations
- Proficient in operating safety and firefighting equipment
- Strong record keeping and organizational skills
- Ability to work in 14x14 shift schedule
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in oil and gas production or accelerated on the job training equivalent to 3 years
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Operate, maintain and repair facility equipment, quarters and activities including housekeeping, parts and material storage, record keeping, shipping and receiving
- Operate, monitor, test, and maintain processing equipment and safety devices from wellhead to sales line
- Monitor performance of wells and production, calculate daily rates, conduct well testing, perform troubleshooting, monitor discharge water produced
- Perform record keeping requirements by BSEE and USCG including weekly/monthly safety meetings, emergency evacuation plans, abandon platform procedures, personnel emergency briefings
- Operate, test, maintain, repair and record keep safety shutdown systems and devices per BSEE regulations and approved facility permits
- Operate safety equipment such as firefighting equipment, emergency supplies, survival capsules, navigational aids, and alarm systems in line with BSEE and USCG regulations
- Operate and maintain rotating equipment including compressors, generators, cranes, pumps, winches according to manufacturer recommendations with little supervision
- Monitor control panels, shutdown devices, liquid levels, flow rates, temperatures to maintain designed operating range
