The role of Mixing Operator III at Aspire Bakeries' Alsip, IL location offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food manufacturing and production. This is a full-time position on the third shift, running from 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM, including required weekend availability, with a competitive hourly wage ranging between $21.00 and $23.00. As a Mixing Operator III, you will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and consistency of dough products by expertly operating and monitoring automated mixing and production equipment. This role demands close attention to detail as you control dough temperature, texture, and mixing times to meet strict product specifications. Additionally, you will support continuous production flow by coordinating with other areas such as the sheeting line and managing the mix capacity efficiently.

The position requires maintaining accurate production and inventory records through SAP data entry, with a strong emphasis on maintaining the highest food safety standards. Responsibilities also include proper handling, storage, and reuse of reworked and waste dough, as well as performing routine sanitation and basic preventative maintenance on equipment. A clean and safe work environment is critical, and you will be responsible for reporting any safety or contamination risks to ensure a safe production floor.

Aspire Bakeries looks for candidates with a minimum of six months of related experience in mixing or manufacturing roles, a high school diploma or GED (preferred), basic computer competency, and the ability to work night shifts within a production setting. Bilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish, and those with bakery or food manufacturing experience, are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with SAP or other production reporting systems is considered an added advantage.
