The role of Mixer Operator 3 within Aspire Bakeries at the Alsip, Illinois location is an integral part of the manufacturing team. This full-time position offers an hourly wage between $20 and $21 and operates on a 1st shift schedule from 5:45 AM to 4:15 PM, with weekend availability required. The Mixer Operator 3 is responsible for ensuring the consistency and quality of dough products by accurately preparing and mixing ingredients following specific recipes and production guidelines. Attention to detail is essential for monitoring dough texture, temperature, and overall development, ensuring that every batch meets Aspire Bakeries' high standards.
In addition to the technical responsibilities, the role demands the operation of specialized mixing equipment, inventory management including ingredient tracking and rework incorporation, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Accurate documentation using SAP and other production data entry systems is crucial to support food safety and traceability. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively, promptly reporting any product, equipment, or safety concerns to leadership, thereby contributing to a safe, efficient production line.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a mixer or similar production role
- Ability to read, write, and complete accurate documentation in English
- Ability to work with computers and operating screens
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties
- Operate mixing equipment to prepare dough according to time, temperature, and recipe specifications
- Monitor dough texture, temperature, and development to ensure consistent product quality
- Maintain accurate ingredient inventory and incorporate rework according to specifications
- Support efficient sheeting line operations by aligning dough capacity with equipment capabilities
- Complete accurate SAP entries, mixing documentation, and batch records
- Maintain clean, organized mixing equipment, coolers, and ingredient storage areas
- Communicate product, equipment, or food safety concerns promptly to leadership
