The role of Operator 2, Bakery-Mixing, at the Swedesboro, NJ bakery is a crucial position focused on producing consistent, high-quality dough by following precise recipes and maintaining strict safety, quality, and efficiency standards. This role involves operating and monitoring mixing processes, managing ingredient measurements, and ensuring timely production aligned with line capacity. The Operator 2 will maintain accurate production records and use SAP systems for data entry, while ensuring compliance with food safety, GMP, and quality standards. This position requires maintaining equipment and a clean work environment as well as inspecting scales and mixing tools for proper function. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six months of experience in mixer or related production roles, with the ability to follow recipes and operate equipment independently. Basic math and computer skills, physical stamina for lifting and standing, and attention to detail are essential.

  • Minimum of 6 months of mixer or related production experience
  • Ability to follow recipes and operate mixing equipment with minimal supervision
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and ability to read scales and temperature gauges
  • Ability to accurately document production and ingredient data
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods in a production environment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use operating screens and systems
