Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks associated with the department operations
- Willingness to learn and participate in all training and rotation activities
- Commitment to upholding company values and guest service standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Adherence to all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines
- Pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Eligibility to participate in E-Verify program
Job Qualifications
- 1 or 2 years of experience in hotel operations preferred
- Demonstrated interest in leadership and hospitality management
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks associated with the department operations
- Hospitality management coursework or degree preferred
- Bilingual abilities preferred
Job Duties
- Learn and support daily operations
- Learn inventory control processes for linen, amenities, chemicals, and equipment
- Support quality assurance processes, including room inspections and brand standard audits
- Assist in maintaining department cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Assist with onboarding, training, coaching, and supporting team members
- Observe and support performance management, attendance tracking, and corrective action processes
- Promote teamwork, engagement, and adherence to company values
- Model professional behavior and strong customer-service skills
- Support prompt resolution of guest concerns related to room cleanliness or service
- Collaborate closely with other departments
- Ensure guest requests are prioritized and communication is timely and professional
- Uphold service recovery standards to enhance guest satisfaction
- Learn and comply with all OSHA, health, safety, and sanitation requirements
- Support safe work practices, chemical handling, and proper equipment use
- Learn labor standards, scheduling practices, and union contract guidelines
- Participate in action planning to improve cleanliness scores, efficiency, and guest satisfaction
- Demonstrate readiness for promotion through performance, reliability, and leadership capability
