Job Requirements
- 2 - 4 years related functional experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ownership and responsibility in operations management
- Ability to connect and build rapport with associates and customers
- Efficient time management and organizational skills

Job Duties
- Provide operational leadership to individual contributors and hourly workforce including loading/unloading trailers, cross-docking, and customer service operations
- Supervise workforce and equipment scheduling
- Make corrective actions and disciplinary decisions up to written warning level
- Participate in hiring process and customer meetings
- Establish and sustain training and competence among supervisors and associates
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance standards with coaching and counseling
- Motivate and engage associates through team accomplishments and recognition
- Conduct team meetings and evaluate work methods to increase productivity
- Provide relief coverage for operational duties when needed
- Ensure thorough knowledge of operating systems for compliance and exception resolution
- Complete records and reports accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with financial policies related to inventory, returns, and damages
- Manage associates’ working hours to minimize overtime and meet productivity targets
- Align day-to-day management activities with location safety strategy
- Provide communication, training, and feedback to ensure safe performance
