The Coordinator works collaboratively with Central Dispatch to devise effective line haul plans, optimizing the movement of freight to various destinations.
In addition to operational oversight, the Coordinator is responsible for managing and directing assigned employees, fostering a productive and secure working environment through effective planning and scheduling. The role demands strategic implementation of security and loss prevention protocols along with developing and enforcing safety procedures in accordance with company policies and legal standards. The successful candidate will also develop action plans to meet service targets relating to productivity, load averages, and space utilization. Flexible scheduling is a necessity to meet service demands efficiently. Job Requirements
- U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous dock operations and/or supervision experience within the transportation industry preferred

Job Duties
- Manages, plans, organizes, and directs assigned employees
- Manages and implements security and loss prevention procedures
- Prepares and manages safety procedures in accordance with TFF and government guidelines
- Prepares and implements action plans to ensure the service center achieves planned productivity, load average, cube utilization, and service targets
- Works with Central Dispatch to develop a line haul plan to effectively and efficiently move freight to destinations
- Schedules employees in accordance with hours planning, TFFs run bid process, and service requirements
