The role of Operations Supervisor - Food Production at SkyChefs located in Dulles, USA, involves overseeing food production operations in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering high-quality products to customers. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for organizing, staffing, and directing production areas to meet delivery schedules efficiently. The role demands close attention to compliance with various government regulatory standards such as FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and HACCP. As a leader, the supervisor will conduct daily meetings, schedule staff to meet labor productivity and overtime targets, and monitor adherence to safety regulations. Job Duties

  • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed and that all delivery times are being met timely
  • Conduct daily work group meetings
  • Schedule and control staff to meet labour productivity and overtime targets
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies standards such as FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, HACCP
  • Document and follow up on all department processes in order to implement improvements
  • Ensure on-time and accurate production and/or catering of all flights
