The goal is to drive operational efficiency, maintain high service quality, meet service level agreements (SLAs), and resolve any escalated shipment issues promptly.

Responsibilities include supervising inbound and outbound air freight operations to ensure timely delivery and compliance with airline, TSA, IATA, and customs requirements. The supervisor will monitor important operational metrics including transit times, service levels, cost control, and shipment accuracy to optimize the overall air freight process. They will also be responsible for approving critical air freight documentation such as MAWB/HAWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export filings.

This position also involves mentoring and developing a team of air freight coordinators, promoting a culture of accountability, accuracy, and operational discipline. The supervisor will be a pivotal escalation point for any customer-facing issues or shipment delays, facilitating timely and effective resolutions that align with the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role requires evaluating pricing, routing, and capacity decisions in collaboration with sales and network teams, identifying process gaps, and initiating continuous improvement projects.
