Job Requirements

  • at least one year of related work experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • experience as a supervisor is preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports using the computerized system
  • review employee shift logs and daily memo books and document relevant information
  • contact appropriate departments such as Bell Services and Housekeeping to resolve guest calls, requests, or issues
  • manage guest check-ins including confirming reservations, verifying identity, requesting payment method, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys
  • sell rooms to guests without prior reservations according to availability and ensure pricing follows market standards
  • ensure charges from other departments are posted to guest accounts
  • assist management with training, evaluation, coaching, discipline, motivation, and mentoring of employees
  • serve as a role model and primary contact for open-door and fair treatment policies
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • conduct safety training and obtain certifications
  • adhere to company policies and maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • greet and recognize guests per company standards and anticipate their service needs
  • communicate clearly and professionally including telephone etiquette
  • foster positive working relationships
  • ensure quality standards compliance
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • handle objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
