Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in food production, manufacturing, distribution, or meal prep facilities
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, OSHA, USDA regulations and allergen control
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to work on-site in Portland, USA
  • Ability to manage schedules, labor productivity, and operational costs effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience with 2+ years as a supervisor in food production, manufacturing, distribution, or meal prep facilities
  • Hands-on management style with comfort engaging directly with staff and resolving issues
  • Operational expertise in scheduling, inventory management, labor planning, and production flow
  • Industry knowledge in airline catering, meal kit production, or large-scale food operations preferred
  • Regulatory awareness including familiarity with HACCP, OSHA, USDA, FDA, and allergen control protocols
  • Union experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead with purpose by guiding, motivating, and developing the team to meet and exceed performance goals
  • Drive production excellence by ensuring meals are prepped, portioned, and assembled to gold standard specifications including FIFO, allergen control, HACCP compliance, and quality checks
  • Innovate and improve by driving process enhancements, safety initiatives, and compliance with industry regulations such as HACCP, OSHA, USDA
  • Optimize operations through managing schedules, labor productivity, and costs to ensure efficiency in a fast-paced environment
  • Inspire teamwork by hosting daily meetings to foster collaboration and align performance and safety goals
  • Collaborate across teams by partnering with supervisors, production leads, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations
