The Operations Supervisor role at Forward Air is a pivotal position within the Complete Cartage team, focusing on leading and developing a team of Regional Carrier Specialists. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 per year, with a work schedule from 10 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday. Job Duties
- Lead and develop a team of Regional Carrier Specialists
- Ensure completion and reporting of all CMG operations duties and key performance indicators
- Manage onboarding, training, and development programs for team members
- Coordinate department schedules to meet operational needs within budget
- Resolve escalations to improve product, process, and customer satisfaction
- Arrange resources to handle special business situations, holidays, and weather impacts
- Communicate with IT and other teams to improve procedural systems and create process guides
