The Operations Supervisor in Food and Beverage (F&B) serves as the operational backbone of the hotel’s F&B department, providing comprehensive oversight across multiple outlets including the restaurant, bar, and banquet/event operations. The role demands strong leadership abilities, adaptability, and profound knowledge of hospitality operations. This position requires supervising daily food and beverage service, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring consistent adherence to brand and service standards. The supervisor will directly work with hotel management to guarantee seamless daily operations and flawless event execution, frequently stepping into the frontline to manage real-time service challenges. Responsibilities extend from event planning and setup to hands-on floor supervision and staff coaching.

In banquet and event operations, the supervisor assists with planning and executing private and corporate events, including furniture layout, décor, AV, and place settings according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). During events, they act as the primary on-site contact ensuring smooth client, vendor, and entertainment coordination. Multi-outlet supervision involves managing opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS reconciliation, and maintaining high service and presentation standards. Staff leadership includes coaching bartenders, servers, banquet staff, and support teams while leading pre-shift meetings to align team goals and guest expectations. The role also focuses on maximizing guest experience through active engagement and timely resolution of any concerns, embodying the hotel’s core hospitality standards from arrival to departure. Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in food and beverage including restaurant, bar, and banquet
  • 1-2 years supervisory or leadership experience
  • ability to read and execute banquet event orders
  • experience with POS systems
  • TIPS certification or willingness to obtain
  • excellent communication and leadership skills
  • availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of F&B experience spanning restaurant, bar, and banquet operations
  • 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role
  • strong knowledge of bar service, table service, and event floor management
  • ability to read and execute from BEOs
  • experience with POS systems such as Toast, Square, or Micros
  • TIPS certified or ability to obtain
  • excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • prior experience in hotel banquet operations preferred
  • familiarity with event space configuration and AV coordination preferred
  • experience supporting event sales or client coordination preferred
  • knowledge of hotel F&B systems and structure preferred
