Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in food and beverage including restaurant, bar, and banquet
- 1-2 years supervisory or leadership experience
- ability to read and execute banquet event orders
- experience with POS systems
- TIPS certification or willingness to obtain
- excellent communication and leadership skills
- availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of F&B experience spanning restaurant, bar, and banquet operations
- 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role
- strong knowledge of bar service, table service, and event floor management
- ability to read and execute from BEOs
- experience with POS systems such as Toast, Square, or Micros
- TIPS certified or ability to obtain
- excellent communication and multitasking skills
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- prior experience in hotel banquet operations preferred
- familiarity with event space configuration and AV coordination preferred
- experience supporting event sales or client coordination preferred
- knowledge of hotel F&B systems and structure preferred
Job Duties
- assist with event planning, setup, execution, and breakdown
- coordinate event space configurations including furniture, linen, AV, décor, and place settings
- serve as primary on-site supervisor during events
- review BEOs and brief service teams
- ensure smooth transitions between daily operations and event setups
- supervise daily F&B operations across restaurant, bar, and banquet spaces
- manage opening and closing procedures including cash handling and POS reconciliation
- uphold service standards and guest experience protocols
- monitor staffing coverage and adjust resources as needed
- supervise and coach bartenders, servers, banquet staff, and support teams
- lead pre-shift and pre-event meetings
- collaborate on staff scheduling and performance feedback
- uphold and model hospitality standards
- build rapport with guests and clients
- resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
