Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in food and beverage including restaurant, bar, and banquet
  • 1-2 years supervisory or leadership experience
  • ability to read and execute banquet event orders
  • experience with POS systems
  • TIPS certification or willingness to obtain
  • excellent communication and leadership skills
  • availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of F&B experience spanning restaurant, bar, and banquet operations
  • 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role
  • strong knowledge of bar service, table service, and event floor management
  • ability to read and execute from BEOs
  • experience with POS systems such as Toast, Square, or Micros
  • TIPS certified or ability to obtain
  • excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • prior experience in hotel banquet operations preferred
  • familiarity with event space configuration and AV coordination preferred
  • experience supporting event sales or client coordination preferred
  • knowledge of hotel F&B systems and structure preferred

Job Duties

  • assist with event planning, setup, execution, and breakdown
  • coordinate event space configurations including furniture, linen, AV, décor, and place settings
  • serve as primary on-site supervisor during events
  • review BEOs and brief service teams
  • ensure smooth transitions between daily operations and event setups
  • supervise daily F&B operations across restaurant, bar, and banquet spaces
  • manage opening and closing procedures including cash handling and POS reconciliation
  • uphold service standards and guest experience protocols
  • monitor staffing coverage and adjust resources as needed
  • supervise and coach bartenders, servers, banquet staff, and support teams
  • lead pre-shift and pre-event meetings
  • collaborate on staff scheduling and performance feedback
  • uphold and model hospitality standards
  • build rapport with guests and clients
  • resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
