The Raising Cane's River Center is currently seeking a full-time Operations Staff Supervisor to join its team. This role is integral to the success of day-to-day facility operations, primarily assisting the operations manager with supervisory tasks and active participation in labor-intensive event setup and teardown. This position demands a strong team player who is willing to engage physically and contribute to the collective effort required to prepare and maintain the facility for various high-profile events. The role requires working non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the event industry.
The Operations Staff Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing a range of operational tasks that ensure smooth event transitions and facility readiness. Key responsibilities include supervising the setup and removal of event layouts, which involves moving chairs, walls, barricades, staging, tables, and other furnishings and equipment. The supervisor also manages event staffing levels by monitoring and recommending appropriate scheduling to senior management. Additional duties involve coordinating building and event support services, performing physical labor related to event assembly, and operating various types of motorized equipment such as forklifts and lifts. The position also includes light maintenance and housekeeping tasks to maintain the operational integrity and cleanliness of the event spaces. This is a physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift heavy loads, walk long distances, and stand for extended periods. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Maintains a professional appearance
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 lbs
- Walk long distances or stand for extended periods of time
- Climb stairs and push or pull heavy objects
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and other motorized lifts
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks

Job Duties
- Ensure daily successful operational coordination of all facility activities by gathering and distributing event information from event coordinators, food service, management, and other operational managers to all operations staff
- Supervise setting-up and removing event layouts, including moving chairs, walls, barricades, staging, tables, and other furnishings and equipment
- Monitor and make recommendations to senior operations manager, assistant director of operations, conversion manager that events have appropriate staffing numbers scheduled
- Coordinate service needs for building and event and conversions operational needs
- Perform physical labor including carrying, lifting, and assembly event items
- Load and unload delivery trucks, transport trash and waste to proper disposal area and replenish supplies
- Perform light maintenance repairs to event setup and cleaning equipment using hand and power tools
- Operate forklifts, scissor, vertical, and boom lifts, and other motorized vehicles properly
- May operate specialized facility tools with training at the directions of a supervisor
- Minor housekeeping or cleaning duties when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
