Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Maintains a professional appearance
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 lbs
  • Walk long distances or stand for extended periods of time
  • Climb stairs and push or pull heavy objects

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other motorized lifts
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Ensure daily successful operational coordination of all facility activities by gathering and distributing event information from event coordinators, food service, management, and other operational managers to all operations staff
  • Supervise setting-up and removing event layouts, including moving chairs, walls, barricades, staging, tables, and other furnishings and equipment
  • Monitor and make recommendations to senior operations manager, assistant director of operations, conversion manager that events have appropriate staffing numbers scheduled
  • Coordinate service needs for building and event and conversions operational needs
  • Perform physical labor including carrying, lifting, and assembly event items
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, transport trash and waste to proper disposal area and replenish supplies
  • Perform light maintenance repairs to event setup and cleaning equipment using hand and power tools
  • Operate forklifts, scissor, vertical, and boom lifts, and other motorized vehicles properly
  • May operate specialized facility tools with training at the directions of a supervisor
  • Minor housekeeping or cleaning duties when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
