The role of Operations Project Coordinator within TTM Technologies’ East Syracuse, NY location involves supporting the company’s production and operational objectives by coordinating and monitoring multiple active projects within manufacturing. Reporting to and working closely with the Operations Project Support Engineer and the Production Operations team, the coordinator’s primary responsibility is to ensure that all assigned projects progress smoothly, on schedule, and within budgetary constraints. The Operations Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in communicating project status updates, gathering and analyzing relevant data, assisting with creating detailed work plans and schedules, and escalating issues promptly to maintain project integrity. Additionally, this role includes leading smaller-scale projects that fall outside the scope of the broader Project Management Organization (PMO), thereby broadening the operational impact of the coordinator’s work.

Key responsibilities for this role include collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance to foster effective communication and problem-solving. The coordinator is also expected to maintain accurate project documentation, contribute to the preparation of customer-focused status reports, and build a thorough understanding of production factors influencing operational outcomes. This position is ideal for individuals with strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, who are proficient in Microsoft Office applications and capable of following established processes meticulously. The position operates within defined work hours from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the East Syracuse facility. Compensation for this role ranges approximately from $41,507 to $65,608 annually, with the potential for bonuses and shift premiums based on assignment. Job Duties

  • Assist Operations Project Support Engineer with ensuring the success of various projects by gathering and relaying information, helping to develop action plans, and monitoring assigned risk items
  • Closely monitor assigned project's status through the manufacturing process, escalating issues as needed
  • Quickly and accurately share project or program status internally with the Operations Project Support Engineer
  • Provide support in developing and maintaining detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
  • Support the preparation of customer status reports, as needed, by providing appropriate data to PMO
  • Work closely with production personnel to develop a thorough understanding of factors impacting production
  • Perform all other related duties as directed by Supervisor or Project/Program Manager they are supporting
