Joining Ecolab as an Operations Market Manager presents a unique leadership opportunity focused on managing a team of service representatives specializing in Ecolab’s equipment, machines, and service offerings. This role is critical to supporting regional growth and ensuring the successful delivery of total value to the customer. As an Operations Market Manager, you will be responsible for selecting, training, developing, and coaching a team of 6-12 direct reports. Your leadership will be pivotal in managing the equipment, storage shed, and third-party costs within your area, along with achieving corporate account rollout goals relating to equipment utilization and foundational operational platforms.

Key responsibilities include ensuring your team meets installation and heavy service performance standards and adheres to established protocols. You will also recommend and implement productivity objectives leveraging technology, routing efficiencies, and safety support tools. Coordination of installations, effective stakeholder communication, and efficient management of leased and non-sold equipment to ensure proper payback and returns are essential parts of the role. This position demands a candidate residing within a commutable distance to Houston, TX, with approximately 25% overnight travel required.

Compensation for this role ranges between $85,800 and $128,800, inclusive of base pay and target incentives based on performance. Ecolab emphasizes compliance with wage and overtime laws and conducts background checks and drug screenings for all candidates receiving job offers. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED
  • Combination of 3 years mechanical, sales and/or leadership experience
  • Position requires a current and valid driver’s license
  • Ecolab conducts a background check and drug screens on all candidates who receive a job offer
  • No immigration sponsorship available
  • Candidate must reside within a commutable distance from Houston, TX
  • 25% overnight travel required

Job Duties

  • Manage a team of individual contributors with an average team size of 6-12 direct reports
  • Responsible for the equipment, storage shed and 3rd party cost management within the area
  • Accountable for achieving corporate account rollout goals, equipment and Ecolab dish machine program (EDP) utilization and foundational operations platforms within the area
  • Ensure team achieves all installations and heavy service performance metrics and follows established processes and protocols
  • Coach team to repair, perform preventative maintenance and installation of equipment and solutions
  • Recommend productivity objectives, leveraging technology, routing capabilities and safety support tools
  • Coordinate installations across the area, communicate effectively with DM and CA stakeholders
  • Efficiently manage leased equipment, non-sold equipment for proper payback and returns
