The Operations Manager position at Oak View Group is a vital role responsible for overseeing venue concessions and catering operations with a focus on operational excellence, team leadership, and customer satisfaction. This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $75,000. Job Duties

  • Manage, develop, and mentor a staff of catering and concessions employees, including discipline and performance documentation
  • Ensure proper setup of all concession locations before doors, including inventory verification and sanitation standards
  • Provide oversight and operational expertise for smooth and profitable event execution
  • Manage inventory, product ordering, and high-volume sales
  • Oversee venue concessions operations before, during, and after events, including staff scheduling, POS monitoring, guest complaint resolution, and reporting
  • Train new and current employees on property procedures and best practices
  • Provide guidance and oversight to supervisors, stand leads, cooks, and cashiers
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and IEC policies, including alcohol service and safety guidelines
  • Report compliance issues immediately to Director of Food and Beverage
  • Complete post-event evaluations, data tracking, and report generation
  • Maintain a safe and harassment-free work environment
  • Address safety concerns and relay issues to management promptly
  • Ensure event staff and volunteers understand workplace expectations
  • Provide ongoing assistance, training, and mentoring to staff and volunteers
  • Reinforce procedures through repetition and lead by example
  • Provide constructive feedback
  • Gain knowledge of all concession locations and facility operations
