Job Description

Timberland Hotel Ventures & Holdings LLC is a reputable hospitality company dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through its well-managed hotel operations. Known for upholding high standards of service, quality, and operational efficiency, the company focuses on creating a welcoming environment for guests while fostering the professional growth of its associates. The establishment prides itself on maintaining a culture that values courtesy, respect, and integrity, aligning with brand standards and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements across its properties. With a commitment to sustainability and wellness, Timberland integrates these core values into its service delivery, especially within the food and beverage operations, to promote guest satisfaction and overall profitability.

The role of Operations Manager at Timberland Hotel Ventures & Holdings LLC is a critical leadership position responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the hotel. This exempt, full-time position involves supervising key operating departments, including guest services, food and beverage, food production, engineering, accounting, sales, and housekeeping, particularly during the absence of the General Manager or Manager on Duty. The Operations Manager plays an essential part in achieving hotel profitability by driving revenue growth, controlling costs, ensuring guest satisfaction, and leading associate development.

A significant portion of the role focuses on overseeing food and beverage service operations, guaranteeing consistent quality and delivery that aligns with the hotel's brand strategy of wellness and regulatory standards compliance. This responsibility includes managing procurement, inventory, storage, preparation, and service of food and beverages for guests and staff. The manager also oversees kitchen facilities and equipment, implements healthful food and beverage programs, and supports wellness-related guest initiatives.

Candidates for this position are expected to bring progressive experience in rooms or food and beverage department management within a hotel setting. The role demands strong supervisory skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure, including the capability to quickly evaluate alternatives and solve problems. Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems is required to manage operational data and financial information efficiently. Effective communication skills are essential, particularly in listening to and resolving concerns from guests and staff.

The Operations Manager actively participates in revenue generation programs and sales efforts by engaging with clients and supporting the sales team. The role also includes developing managerial and hourly employees through corporate-approved training programs and regular one-on-one sessions with department heads. Empowering employees to make guest-focused decisions and ensuring training in service standards is a key part of the responsibilities. The Operations Manager maintains visibility in public areas during peak times to greet guests and offer assistance, ensuring a positive and attentive service culture.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals seeking to grow their leadership experience within a supportive and professionally enriching environment. Timberland Hotel Ventures & Holdings LLC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, vacation, medical, dental, and vision benefits, along with team member discounts and on-site training opportunities. As a dynamic and evolving organization, Timberland seeks Operations Managers who are adaptable and committed to excellence in all facets of hotel operations.
