The role of a Parking Operations Manager at SP+ is a pivotal leadership position responsible for managing and optimizing parking facilities while delivering exceptional customer service. The person in this role oversees daily operations in a dynamic environment, ensuring maximum efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction. This includes supervising valet attendants and managing relations with clients to diplomatically address any issues concerning rates or services. The manager takes charge of recruiting, developing, training, and leading a team to meet operational goals. They analyze staffing requirements to maintain smooth workflow and superior service delivery. An important part of the role involves enforcing strict adherence to parking, security, and cash control procedures, thereby safeguarding company assets and reputation. Financial stewardship is crucial as the manager is tasked with maximizing revenue through budget management, marketing initiatives, expense review, and financial controls.

Job Requirements

  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record

  • ability to react and problem-solve quickly

Job Duties

  • Deliver premier customer service to our clients
  • resolve client requests and concerns efficiently
  • ensure proactive communication with clients regarding opportunities to improve operations
  • supervise valet attendant relations with clients to ensure that complaints, disagreements or misunderstandings about rates or services are resolved diplomatically
  • hire, develop, train, and supervise a team of employees
  • identify proper staffing levels to complete duties, deliver superior customer service, and perform daily job functions
  • ensure that proper parking, security, and cash control procedures are followed
  • maximize profitability through revenue development, facility marketing, cash control procedures, expense reviews, and managing the operation's budget
  • identify all procurement and vendor service needs of the location
  • perform general accounting duties such as accounts payable, payroll, and petty cash
  • monitor facility maintenance for cleanliness standards
  • monitor and review all damage claims
  • recommend and implement plans or programs to improve the safety of operations to prevent the occurrence or reoccurrence of similar claims
  • implement all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all OSHA laws
