This full-time Operations Manager role is based in Fieldtrip's new Tucson market location, offering a salary range of $30 to $35 per hour depending on experience. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the Operations Manager will oversee multiple facets of vacation rental management, from inspections and asset turnover workflows to branding, supply chain logistics, local guest services, maintenance coordination, vendor relations, and housekeeping quality control. Ideal candidates are energetic, reliable, and experienced in property operations, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining exceptional standards for guest service and property management. This position entails regular property visits in the Tucson area and requires a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving and operational support. The Operations Manager will embody and promote the Fieldtrip brand locally, fostering a passion for excellence among team members, guests, and stakeholders alike. This role demands excellent communication, teamwork, planning, and project management abilities, combined with a self-starter mentality and a readiness to engage in the full spectrum of operational responsibilities — including the more hands-on and logistical tasks essential to delivering the distinctive Fieldtrip hospitality experience.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable car
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Willingness to travel regularly within the area
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor or associates degree or relevant job experience requiring analytical skills
- 3+ years of experience in short-term rental or hotel operations
- Hospitality experience
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of basic residential mechanical systems like HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, and well systems
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Skilled with various tech and management applications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Manage ground operations of Tucson properties under the VP of Operations
- Inspect properties to ensure brand standards are maintained
- Evaluate maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping operations
- Review and audit property administrative and maintenance compliance
- Ensure exceptional guest experience by managing supplies and responding to concerns
- Proactively identify and resolve issues independently
- Support supply chain tasks including lifting and unpacking supplies
- Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Serve as brand ambassador for Tucson market
- Regularly visit properties within designated area
