The Operations Manager also drives operational improvements through route optimization, carrier selection, backhauls, and trailer loading while collaborating with other Penske sites to leverage best practices and resources.
The position typically involves a variable schedule depending on business needs and comes with a competitive base salary plus a bonus eligibility of up to 30% of the base salary. The role demands regular, predictable attendance, effective time management, independent decision-making ability, strong communication skills, and a hands-on approach to leadership and problem-solving. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform duties requiring close vision and manual dexterity.
Benefits include Penske Logistics’ comprehensive benefits plan designed to keep associates and their families happy, healthy, and secure.
