The Operations Manager will lead production teams, drive continuous improvement efforts, and ensure strict compliance with food safety and quality standards.
The role demands collaboration across multiple departments including maintenance, quality, warehouse, sanitation, and supply chain to meet and exceed production goals. The Operations Manager will also partner closely with human resources and leadership to support hiring, onboarding, training, and continuous development of production staff. The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe working environment while fostering a culture centered on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include monitoring production schedules, minimizing equipment downtime, conducting performance reviews, analyzing key performance indicators, and ensuring precise documentation and compliance for audits.
Tulkoff Foods emphasizes work-life balance with a mostly air-conditioned production environment, minimal overtime, and rare weekend work, providing an engaging yet balanced workplace. The company offers a generous benefits package including a 401(k) plan with an 8% employer match, paid time off, employer-paid life insurance, and frequent employee engagement activities like monthly town hall lunches.
