Job Requirements
- bachelors degree in business engineering healthcare or related field from accredited college or university or four years of experience
- three or more years of supervisory or lead role experience
- experience with regulatory requirements for sanitation and infection control
- ability to read write speak and understand English
- basic computer skills including MS Office

Job Duties
- manage the day to day housekeeping services including area and room cleaning floor cleaning trash removal pest control sharps removal
- implement ongoing training and development of employees to maintain high quality patient staff and visitor satisfaction
- ensure compliance with sanitation and infection control standards and proper handling packaging storage and disposal of regulated medical waste
- hire onboard supervise coach mentor train and manage performance of housekeeping staff
- complete and post work schedules ensuring adequate coverage and manage timecard signoffs
- control costs related to supplies equipment and labor for housekeeping operations
- implement service growth patient experience and customer service initiatives
- conduct regular inspections of patient public and private areas to ensure compliance with quality safety and Joint Commission guidelines
- collaborate with clinical and non clinical management to maintain clean safe and comfortable environment
- assist with plans and projects to improve operational efficiency recommend improvements related to paint repairs furnishings refurbishing and equipment relocation
- monitor supply inventory and equipment function recommend new or replacement supplies and equipment
- respond to customer questions and escalations and provide service recovery
