With a focus on innovation, guest satisfaction, and a supportive work environment, the company attracts professionals passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to dynamic and vibrant hotel operations.

The role of Operations Manager within Azul Hospitality is a pivotal leadership position entrusted with the comprehensive management of hotel operations. The Operations Manager will collaborate closely with the hotel’s management team to oversee all aspects of the property’s operations, ensuring efficiency and quality in every department. This role demands strong leadership capabilities, excellent organizational skills, and a deep knowledge of hospitality industry best practices and regulatory compliance.

Key elements of the position include fostering open communication among departments, driving initiatives that increase revenue through occupancy strategies and upselling, and maintaining stringent control over payroll, expenses, and profit and loss management. Moreover, the Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining the structural integrity of the building and aligning operations with corporate policies and regulatory guidelines such as OSHA and Cal-OSHA to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Additionally, this role carries the responsibility of employee management, including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations alongside coaching and counseling staff to promote professional growth and service excellence. The Operations Manager must be adept at resolving guest complaints and operational challenges with diplomacy and tact, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all guests.

Candidates for this position should have significant experience in hotel operations and leadership, with a preference for individuals familiar with loyalty programs, brand standards, and hospitality systems. The job requires a combination of strong communication, financial acumen, operational expertise, and customer service skills. A high school diploma is required, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education preferred. The position might occasionally necessitate travel and the operation of motorized vehicles, thus requiring a valid driver’s license. Azul Hospitality emphasizes a neat, professional appearance in line with company grooming standards and values regular attendance to maintain smooth operational continuity.
