Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Hotel operations experience required
  • One to three years of leadership experience required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Knowledge of OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and federal employment laws
  • Proficient in Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must maintain professional grooming standards
  • Regular attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Hotel operations experience
  • One to three years of leadership experience
  • Knowledge of loyalty programs and brand standards preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership capability
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws
  • Ability to manage budgets and perform financial analysis
  • Customer relations experience
  • Ability to work independently

Job Duties

  • Coordinate, direct, and manage hotel operations to achieve profitability and guest satisfaction
  • Work with management team to oversee employees, maintenance, sales, and profit/loss controls
  • Maximize hotel revenues through upselling, occupancy strategies, and outlet revenues
  • Set and monitor quarterly departmental goals
  • Ensure service and product quality standards throughout the hotel
  • Maintain standards of guest services and positive guest experiences
  • Oversee guest service programs and respond to guest needs professionally
