Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • minimum 5 years experience in multifamily property or hospitality management
  • 3+ years as Property Manager or General Manager with successful track record
  • strong operational and leadership skills
  • proficiency with Yardi, CRM, Microsoft Office
  • excellent communication and executive presence

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in multifamily property or hospitality management at manager level or above
  • 3+ years proven success as a high-performing Property Manager or General Manager overseeing 2-3 properties with consistent results
  • recognized for assessing opportunity areas and defining operational plans
  • strong knowledge of operational systems including Yardi, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office
  • demonstrated ability to lead transitions, support teams, and execute brand initiatives

Job Duties

  • Provide hands-on, in-market training in leasing, customer service, and operational tasks
  • conduct audits of CRM systems, recorded calls, and general service standards
  • collaborate with Regional Managers to identify performance issues and implement targeted solutions
  • shop and assess competitive properties and identify action opportunities
  • assist on-site teams with day-to-day leasing, marketing, and resident engagement to improve occupancy and service standards
  • collaborate with Regional Manager and Property Manager to ensure readiness checklists are complete
  • lead or assist in unit pricing walks and market-readiness efforts
  • drive the successful launch of brand standards including Leonardo system rollout
  • project manage signage, marketing assets, website audits, and onboarding materials
  • perform file audits and assist with asset transition to new management companies
  • prepare budgets, market survey analysis, and manage takeover checklist logistics
  • participate in transition calls and oversee utility conversions and contract setups
  • walk units for repricing to capture revenue opportunities
  • fill in temporarily for key vacant roles post-takeover to ensure continuity
  • conduct audits (files, vendors, demographic uploads) and resolve overdue vendor billing
  • assist on-site 1-2 days per week for the first 30 days post-takeover
  • oversee installation of brand markers and execution of the Welcome Home Commitment
  • manage transition plan and be a go-to resource with RM, PM, and accounting
  • assist with budget coding accuracy, takeover budget prep, and vendor setup
  • review ownership reports for accuracy and alignment
  • conduct SWOT analyses, competition research, and trend analysis
  • participate in 5-star inspection deliverables
  • support market-level engagement events, training sessions, and staff development
