Merola Tile is currently seeking a hands-on, detail-driven Production Manager to lead and oversee its manufacturing and merchandising production operations. This full-time position plays a pivotal role in managing the production of mosaic tiles, sample boards, and merchandising materials, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency at every stage. The Production Manager will develop and maintain production schedules aligned with sales forecasts, maximize order fulfillment output, and collaborate closely with design and procurement teams to manage raw materials effectively.

Additionally, the role involves managing the production of sample boards and other merchandising tools, including inventory oversight, resource allocation, and budget management. Coordination with sales, marketing, and product teams is essential to align production timelines with product launches and merchandising needs. The manager will also oversee the returns process, focusing on packaging optimization by analyzing return data to enhance packaging durability, branding, and cost-effectiveness.

Leadership is a critical component of this role. The Production Manager will mentor and manage staff across production areas, implement lean manufacturing principles such as 5S, root cause analysis, standard work, and visual management, and champion continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, enhance productivity, and improve accuracy.
