Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in physical operations supervision
  • associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • ability to lead and manage a team
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • familiarity with marina management software
  • knowledge of profit and loss statements
  • first aid and CPR certification preferred
  • excellent communication skills
  • capability to develop marketing strategies
  • awareness of environmental practices
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree
  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum 5 years experience working in or overseeing physical operations with supervisory experience
  • ability to lead and manage teams including scheduling, training, and evaluations
  • certified marina manager (CMM) preferred but not required
  • first aid, CPR, and other safety certifications preferred
  • knowledge of environmentally friendly practices
  • solid problem-solving skills
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • familiarity with marina management software and booking systems
  • understanding of organizational financial processes including profit and loss
  • marketing strategy development
  • ability to work independently and with creativity

Job Duties

  • Report to the General Manager of the marina
  • create and operate in a clean and secure environment ensuring safety of employees and customers
  • recognize the value of premium customer service and implement beneficial practices
  • have a firm grasp on marina business including revenue drivers and profit margins
  • become an expert operator of marina forklift(s)
  • coach, mentor, and develop marina staff
  • drive efficiencies and implement operational improvements
  • maintain customer satisfaction
