The Operations Manager role at MV Transportation is a critical leadership position responsible for managing daily operations at a designated location to ensure the successful delivery of annual business objectives. This full-time position commands a competitive salary range from $89,000 to $105,000 annually. As an Operations Manager, you will provide direct oversight and leadership for the transportation contract, ensuring adherence to company policies as well as the contracting agency's standards. Key responsibilities involve managing on-time performance and driver availability while overseeing call center functions and customer relations through direct engagement and outreach initiatives.

Additionally, the Operations Manager will be instrumental in staff management, including the selection, training, and mentoring of location staff, fostering communication among team members and supporting staff, and assisting in safety and training program oversight to maintain compliance with company and regulatory requirements. This role also involves routine client interactions aimed at exceeding service expectations, conducting departmental audits, reviewing key operational metrics regularly, and enforcing company policies and procedures. Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years of successful management or supervisory experience in public transportation
  • At least three years of ADA paratransit operations experience in an operation with 150 plus vehicles
  • Technical proficiency with operating and scheduling software
  • Experience in emergency planning protocols
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of contractual obligations
  • Understanding of company policies for operational consistency
  • Experience managing a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications
