The Operations Manager role at PAH Management is a critical leadership position responsible for driving hotel profitability through effective revenue generation, stringent cost control, and ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining the integrity and quality of the hotel. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Operations Manager provides essential oversight and leadership across all hotel operational areas. This exempt position involves active participation in management duties and frequent interaction with guests and associates to uphold the highest standards of hospitality. The Operations Manager coordinates closely with department managers to ensure safety compliance, operational efficiency, and service excellence. Key responsibilities include overseeing the reservation operations, ensuring thorough invoice processing via accounts payable procedures, and timely submission of financial documents to the corporate office in line with the accounting calendar. The role demands active involvement in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the physical property through routine inspections and preventive maintenance programs. Moreover, the Operations Manager fosters a positive, team-oriented environment, motivating associates and emphasizing development to deliver attentive, friendly, courteous, and efficient service at all times. This position also requires monthly financial forecasting and analysis of revenue and expenses to provide accurate reforecasts supporting sound fiscal management of the hotel. The Operations Manager must ensure adherence to PAH Management’s Standard Operating Procedures relating to equitable treatment of associates, safety protocols, and hotel security measures such as safe handling and monthly audits. A vital aspect of the role includes visible presence in public areas during busy periods to actively greet guests and provide assistance, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to warm and personal guest interactions. The position requires flexibility and dedication to meet the operational demands of the hotel, which may occasionally involve long hours.
