Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel operations or related hospitality field
  • Experience managing or supervising teams
  • Proficiency with Hotel Management Software
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
  • Knowledge of safety and risk management practices
  • Ability to train and develop staff
  • Customer service oriented
  • Capable of balancing multiple responsibilities

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • or 2-year college degree and a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience
  • or 4-year degree and at least 1 year of progressive experience
  • Previous supervisory responsibilities
  • Proficient in Windows, company approved spreadsheets and word processing
  • Opera cloud experience necessary
  • Long hours sometimes required
  • Sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
  • Attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented approach
  • Maintain regular attendance according to schedule
  • High standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • Comply with company standards for safe and efficient operations
  • Identify problem areas and assist with solutions

  • Perform other duties as requested by manager

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper and Director of Guest Services with managing the Front Office and Housekeeping operations
  • Provide strong lobby presence to assist front desk agents and guests
  • Provide all aspects of shift coverage in both departments on a rotational basis or as needed
  • Balance the hotel room type inventory
  • Ensure all areas of the lobby and rooms are functioning to standards (cleanliness, guest-only authorized areas, bathroom cleanliness, outdoor cleanliness, elevator cleanliness and functionality, signage standards)
  • Monitor and action Nor 1 upsell program
  • Handle guest's special requests and customer complaints during shift
