Mentor Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is a distinguished provider of community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At Mentor Community Services, we firmly believe in the fundamental right of every person to live well, grow independently, and have access to opportunities that foster a fulfilling life. Operating as a mission-driven organization, we dedicate ourselves to providing innovative and compassionate care that meets the unique needs of each individual we serve. Our team members enjoy working in an environment where relationships matter, collaboration thrives, and the driving force behind our work is the well-being and success of those receiving our support.
Sevita, our parent organization, has been a leading provider of specialized home and community-based health care for more than 50 years. With over 40,000 team members, Sevita serves approximately 50,000 individuals across the United States, continuously innovating and enhancing the quality of care. We are committed to inclusivity and equal opportunity employment, believing that diversity enriches our workforce and strengthens the services we offer. Our commitment extends to ensuring employees enjoy job security, nationwide career development, and advancement opportunities within our expanding operations.
The position of Regional Director Operations Management at Mentor Community Services offers a unique opportunity for experienced professionals passionate about making a meaningful impact in social and human services. This role comes with an annual salary of $90,000 and is pivotal in upholding and advancing the mission of the organization. As the Regional Director of Operations, you will be charged with implementing strategic direction for operations across your region, making certain that all activities align with state business goals and objectives.
In this leadership role, you will oversee the quality of services provided by various programs, driving initiatives that continuously improve service standards. You will execute regional strategies designed to increase census, maximize utilization and occupancy rates, respond to local requests for proposals, engage in new start development initiatives, and identify potential acquisition partners. A critical component of your duties will be maintaining and fostering strong relationships with individuals receiving services, families, and guardians through satisfaction surveys and enhancement plans.
Financial stewardship forms another essential part of your responsibilities. You will manage the financial performance of the regional business unit, review financial statements, oversee regional purchasing, and ensure compliance with billing requirements and documentation. Your leadership influence will extend to supervising Area Directors, Program Directors, and regional support teams; implementing employee practices within the network; and overseeing regional safety and workers' compensation protocols.
This role demands a detail-oriented, organized leader capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines within a dynamic operational landscape. Effective communication skills are vital for managing relationships with diverse stakeholders and ensuring the smooth delivery of quality services. Mentor Community Services offers full-time, part-time, and as-needed schedules, comprehensive compensation and benefits packages for full-time employees, including a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and holiday pay. Working with us means joining a rewarding work environment alongside great coworkers where your efforts tangibly impact the lives of the people we serve.
