Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International's esteemed portfolio, is a renowned global hospitality brand synonymous with exceptional service and memorable guest experiences. Since its founding in 1937, Sheraton has been recognized as a premier destination for travelers seeking comfort, community, and connection in more than 400 communities worldwide. Marriott International prides itself on its commitment to diverse, inclusive, and welcoming work environments that value the unique backgrounds of its associates. Sheraton embodies this by fostering a culture where associates feel a true sense of belonging, motivation, and empowerment, all while working toward a shared mission – to be 'The World's Gathering Place'.

Located in Sacramento, California, the Sheraton at 1230 J St is seeking a full-time Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager to lead and oversee daily operations within their food and beverage department. This role offers an annual salary between $70,310 and $82,000 and includes bonus eligibility. The F&B Manager will be responsible for supervising shift operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, standards, and legal obligations, and maintaining an operating budget to meet financial objectives. This leadership position requires a balance of operational expertise, exceptional customer service, and team development skills to meet and exceed guest expectations.

In this role, the F&B Manager will manage day-to-day food and beverage activities including ordering supplies, scheduling staff, and coordinating cleaning programs to maintain high standards of quality and hygiene. They will support the team through monthly self-inspections and ensure that all equipment is operational, reporting any malfunctions promptly. A critical component of the job is to foster trust, respect, and cooperation among team members while empowering them to perform at their best. The manager is expected to understand employee positions well enough to step in when necessary, promoting a positive, motivated work environment that embraces teamwork and passion for service.

Delivering outstanding customer service is a key priority; the manager will champion initiatives to exceed guest satisfaction by greeting guests warmly, managing concerns proactively, and serving as a role model for appropriate behaviors. They will review guest feedback and satisfaction results with employees, responding timely to improve service quality. Effective communication with staff, supervisors, and customers is essential, as is the ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently.

Additional responsibilities include managing performance standards for subordinates, comprehending budgets and payroll reports to maintain financial efficiency, and performing hourly duties if required. The F&B Manager will celebrate team successes, encourage learning from challenges, and maintain open, collaborative relationships at all times.

Joining Sheraton as a Food and Beverage Manager means becoming part of a diverse and dynamic global team dedicated to excellence in hospitality. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience and a passion for food service management who want to grow their career with a reputable brand committed to inclusion and performance. If you are a motivated leader who strives to provide memorable experiences through exceptional food and beverage service, Sheraton Hotel in Sacramento invites you to begin your journey where you can do your best work, belong to a supportive team, and become the best version of yourself.
