NASCAR is known for its thrilling events, world-class racing venues, and innovative approaches to motorsport entertainment. The organization not only hosts some of the most exciting races in the world but also fosters a dynamic and inclusive work environment where employees are valued and encouraged to grow personally and professionally. NASCAR is dedicated to creating a diverse workplace and provides competitive salaries, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career advancement.

The NASCAR San Diego Street Race is a landmark event scheduled for June 19-21, 2026, transforming Naval Base Coronado into a world-class motorsports venue. This 16-turn, 3.4-mile street circuit, set against the backdrop of one of America’s iconic naval installations, celebrates the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Navy. The race combines NASCAR's high-speed competition with San Diego’s vibrant coastal energy and rich military heritage, marking a new era in street racing innovation.

We're seeking highly organized Operations Event Staff to join our team for this exciting seasonal role, which lasts until July 2026. The successful candidates will work on-site at Naval Base Coronado from June 1-30, 2026, playing a crucial role in ensuring the event's seamless execution. This position involves managing vendors, controlling site access, and supporting the build-out and tear-down of the event infrastructure to guarantee safety, efficiency, and adherence to schedules. The role requires strong coordination skills, the ability to navigate complex environments including compliance with Navy access protocols, and effective communication with diverse stakeholders including vendors, contractors, city officials, and military partners.

Joining NASCAR means becoming part of a high-energy environment where innovation, collaboration, and a passion for motorsports drive everything we do. This position offers a competitive compensation range of $16.90 to $25.00 per hour, reflecting NASCAR’s commitment to rewarding talent and dedication. Event staff will gain invaluable experience working on a large-scale, high-profile motorsports event that blends sport, culture, and history in a unique and challenging setting.

At NASCAR, employees thrive in a culture that supports wellness, diversity, and professional growth. We believe our people are the cornerstone of success and provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance overall wellbeing. Our commitment to equal opportunity ensures that all qualified applicants receive fair consideration regardless of race, gender, age, or any other protected status, fostering an inclusive and empowering workplace environment. We invite candidates who are ready to bring their skills, passion, and ideas to join us in making the 2026 NASCAR San Diego Street Race an unforgettable event.
