Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform each primary job function satisfactorily
  • Knowledge of company policies
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate information in writing
  • Ability to understand and communicate verbally with others
  • Ability to utilize club software and email communication tools such as Microsoft Outlook
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year experience in the hospitality industry or related service position preferred
  • Food safety certification if applicable
  • Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude
  • Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
  • Self-motivated and willing to acquire new skills
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • CPR certification

Job Duties

  • Greet members and guests upon arrival to the club
  • Check members in by verifying their membership
  • Ensure all guests complete a guest registration waiver and pay applicable guest fees
  • Book appointments, programs, and class reservations for members and guests
  • Provide information regarding club programming and facilities
  • Deliver exceptional service experience to members, guests, and associates
  • Represent the club in a professional manner
  • Provide membership sales team with guest/prospect lead contact information
  • Operate cash register and process payments
  • Manage and balance cash drawer each shift
  • Perform opening and/or closing duties
  • Answer and transfer phone calls
  • Create and serve food and beverage items
  • Promote daily specials and encourage upgrades
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Hold relevant food safety and responsible beverage service certifications
  • Act as host for pool area and events
  • Offer seating and provide tours of pool amenities
  • Communicate and book appointments for programs and events
  • Maintain refreshment stations and towel operations
  • Warmly greet members in parking garage
  • Audit cars parked in garage as needed
  • Assist in cleanliness and stock levels throughout the club
  • Perform detailed cleaning and preventive maintenance
  • Assist with laundry functions including towels
  • Communicate timely and follow up appropriately
  • Participate in events, programs, meetings, and trainings
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
