The Operations and Office Administrator, also known as the Ops and Logistics Coordinator, plays a crucial role within Wurth's multi-state operational framework. This position involves managing the procurement process from order placement through to supplier coordination and inventory tracking. Responsible for maintaining detailed and accurate records, the role supports Vendor-Managed Inventory programs and ensures that packaging materials and supplies are replenished efficiently at warehouse and distribution center locations. The coordinator also aids the Director of Safety and Facilities along with regional teams by providing administrative assistance that includes documentation, reporting, and monitoring key processes.

This full-time, on-site role is based at either the Bondurant, Iowa, or Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, location, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The pay rate starts at $24 per hour, with opportunities for an annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance and other factors such as education, skills, certifications, and experience. The role requires occasional travel of up to 25%, allowing engagement with diverse teams and locations to maintain optimal operation coordination.

Job Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration supply chain warehouse operations or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative inventory procurement or warehouse operations
  • strong organizational and record keeping skills with high attention to detail
  • proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities
  • ability to sit stand and move within warehouse and office environments
  • ability to lift 25-30 lbs occasionally
  • occasional travel up to 25%

Job Duties

  • Manage and process purchase orders for multiple locations ensuring accuracy and timely submission to suppliers/vendors
  • maintain organized and up-to-date records of inventory orders and supplier communications
  • monitor and track warehouse packaging material levels coordinating replenishment as needed
  • document and track coordination of material transfers between warehouse and distribution center locations
  • verify receipt of materials and perform invoice reconciliation to ensure accuracy and proper record keeping
  • communicate with suppliers regarding orders delivery schedules and inventory discrepancies
  • provide administrative support to the Director of Safety and Facilities and regional teams including documentation reporting and process tracking
  • perform general administrative duties such as directing emails and phone calls to appropriate departments ordering office supplies coordinating meetings and supporting all customer or guest events regardless of location
  • all other duties as assigned
