With a strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence, Powers Health integrates advanced treatment methodologies and personalized care plans to improve the health and well-being of its patients. The organization takes pride in its multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who work collaboratively to deliver high-quality care in a supportive, patient-focused environment. Powers Health has built its reputation on trust, compassion, and innovation, making it a preferred destination for patients seeking specialized therapeutic services.
The Operational Assistant at Powers Health plays a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of patient and provider interactions, departmental operations, and information management associated with therapy services, audiology, and wound ostomy care. This full-time position offers a dynamic work schedule from Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, perfect for those who thrive in structured, yet engaging work environments. This role is integral to maintaining the smooth workflow and administrative excellence of the department.
As an Operational Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, working at the front desk to handle patient scheduling, mail processing, and updating office files. Your organizational skills will ensure that correspondence and information are prepared in their final form accurately and efficiently, contributing directly to the quality of service provided by the healthcare team. Your proficiency with office machines, as well as Microsoft Word, will support the diverse administrative demands of the office.
Working closely with therapists, audiologists, and wound care specialists, you will provide the vital administrative and clerical support that enables them to focus on clinical care. This role requires strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and adaptability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Powers Health values employees who are dedicated to excellence, patient-centered service, and continuous professional growth, and offers a conducive workplace culture to support these priorities.
Beyond the daily responsibilities, Powers Health provides a comprehensive benefits package that fosters well-being and career advancement. With medical, dental, and vision insurance, healthcare and dependent care spending accounts, retirement savings options, and additional perks such as life insurance and disability coverage, the organization invests in the long-term welfare of its employees. The availability of wellness programs, fitness center discounts, tuition assistance, paid time off, and an employee assistance program further underscores Powers Health's commitment to creating a supportive and rewarding work environment.
By joining Powers Health as an Operational Assistant, you will be part of a healthcare team dedicated to improving patient outcomes while also enhancing your own skills and career development. The organization provides mentoring opportunities and the tools needed to succeed, recognizing the unique contributions each team member brings to the collective mission of delivering outstanding, compassionate healthcare services.
