Job Description

We are a well-established hotel operating within the hospitality industry, dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring operational excellence. With a strong focus on quality service and customer satisfaction, our hotel has earned a reputation as a comfortable and welcoming destination for travelers. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards in every aspect of our operations, from front desk services to housekeeping, food and beverage, and facility management. Our team environment fosters collaboration and innovation, aiming to deliver memorable stays and build long-term guest loyalty.

The Operations Manager role is a pivotal position within our hotel, responsible for overseeing daily operations across multiple departments to enhance overall performance and guest satisfaction. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $60,000 annually and reports directly to the General Manager. The ideal candidate will play a proactive role in supervising front desk operations, housekeeping, engineering, and food and beverage departments, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency. This role is essential for limiting excessive expenses, optimizing occupancy rates, and maximizing revenue through strategic operational management.

A major emphasis of the position is on guest satisfaction, which is closely monitored through Guest Satisfaction Survey (GSS) results. The Operations Manager must be highly accessible and prepared to meet the demanding needs of a dynamic hotel environment, often working extended hours and covering additional shifts to address operational needs. Key responsibilities include communicating effectively with staff and guests, managing payroll, accounts payable, and receivable functions, and adhering strictly to brand standards. Exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask across diverse departments are critical to success in this role.

Candidates with prior hotel management experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management will find this position particularly suited to their skills. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive work environment and continuously improving operations based on guest and employee feedback. Managing employee schedules, overseeing department budgets, processing invoices and payroll, and handling guest complaint resolution are daily tasks that are vital to achieving operational excellence. The Operations Manager is a key driver of both employee engagement and guest loyalty, ensuring the hotel meets its financial goals while maintaining a high quality of service.
