The Operating Room Perioperative Services Nurse Educator role is integral to maintaining and advancing the hospital's excellence in surgical services. Reporting directly to the Director of Perioperative Services, this role collaborates extensively with the OR Nurse Manager, leaders in Anesthesia and Surgical Services, Sterile Processing teams, PACU staff, and Quality departments. The Nurse Educator plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive onboarding programs, developing expert preceptors, ensuring annual competencies are met, orchestrating continuing education sessions, and upholding regulatory readiness for all circulating and scrub nursing roles. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
  • At least 3 years of perioperative nursing experience
  • Proven experience in nurse education or mentorship roles
