The Operating Room Environmental Services Attendant role at Sodexo, based at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, is an essential position contributing to the hospital’s mission of providing a safe and healthy environment for patients, medical staff, and visitors. Job Duties
- clean and maintain specified areas within the perioperative suites
- follow hospital regulations and policies regarding cleaning, biohazard waste disposal, linen distribution, restocking and communication with ancillary departments as needed
- assist in an operating room suite with limited patient care, including moving, transporting, or aiding the RN circulator with limited patient contact
- attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
