Towne Park is currently hiring Valets, Valet Shift Leads, and Shuttle Drivers to join their team at downtown Nashville’s premier luxury hotels. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • one month related experience or training
  • basic customer service knowledge
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and varying hours
  • willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • travel up to 5 percent as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • must hold a valid driver’s license for the state you are applying to work or within commutable distance
  • one month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • ability to read and write standard English
  • ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • ability to add and subtract three digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10s and 100s, perform these operations using units of American money
  • ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, coworkers, and clients
  • acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using last names during interactions
  • uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
  • practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • assists guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
  • opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • delivers messages, items, and guest amenities
  • shuttles guests to approved locations
  • explains parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • issues and collects claim checks
  • completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage surveys, and claim receipts
  • calculates and collects revenue when needed
