This role is based in Nashville, Tennessee, within an industrial laundry facility. The position involves working as a vital part of a team to ensure the safe, swift, and accurate handling of merchandise entering and exiting the laundry facility. The team member will be responsible for operating industrial washers and dryers with strict adherence to safety protocols, the careful management of batch tickets to maintain product integrity, and the effective use of equipment and inventory in line with company procedures. Candidates will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace while contributing to maximum productivity. Given the physically demanding nature of the position, the ideal candidate must be comfortable with lifting heavy loads, maneuvering large slings or carriers, and performing repetitive tasks in various environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold.

Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions
- Working knowledge of basic math skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet attendance schedule
- Ability to lift or maneuver slings or carriers weighing up to 220 lbs
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, reaching, pulling, and pressing
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Willingness to work in a shift schedule including weekends and overtime
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to extreme temperatures and noise
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent preferred

Job Duties
- Check all machine safety devices before operating equipment and record and sign equipment safety form
- Notify supervisor if machine does not pass safety inspection and do not operate unit
- Load washer by retrieving sling, positioning it on washer rails, and loading items according to batch tickets
- Position washer/dryer properly, load items, close doors, select appropriate formula, and start machine
- Write batch ticket information on washer/dryer form
- Enter weight off batch ticket into SOFTROL for washer
- Tie sling and transport to hoist staging area for dryer
- Unload washer and dryer ensuring proper moisture levels and proper handling
- Verify moisture retention, avoid overloading carts/tubs, and ensure items are properly cooled
- Identify and remove slings with rips or tears
- Maintain safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in production activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
