Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in restaurant or hospitality preferred
- ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- possession of or ability to obtain valid California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds
- effective communication skills
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- dependable and punctual
- willingness to shift between host, busser, and food runner duties
- basic food safety knowledge
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet all guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor
- manage waitlist, reservations, and seating flow
- escort guests to the table and provide menus
- answer phones and assist with guest inquiries
- maintain a clean, organized host stand and entrance area
- clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently
- maintain the cleanliness of dining areas, restrooms, and service stations
- refill water, assist servers with beverage service as needed
- monitor and restock service supplies
- support servers to ensure timely table turnover and guest satisfaction
- coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely food delivery
- inspect dishes for quality, presentation, and completeness before leaving the kitchen
- deliver food to tables and communicate clearly with guests and servers
- assist in organizing tickets and maintaining efficient kitchen flow
- ensure modifications and special requests are executed correctly
